New wheels!
Yet another step in making it a little less old man-ish.. haha
They are the two piece BBS Sepangs, 20x9 all around. I got lucky and found a complete set of oem take offs, and didn't have to settle for repaired/refurbished ones. Tires are Falken 452, 255/35.
Decided to see how she'd look slammed. This is with the front shocks empty. This was achieved by jacking the front corners one at a time, and putting it back on the ground. She pops back up as soon as it's started.

Gosh, what a beauty. I love the looks of the X350 so much, there isn't a color I don't like on this car. The white looks fantastic! Wheels look fantastic. I have Falcon 452s on my XK8. I like them. They were the right price which makes them even better. They make little noise when they wear down some, so if you get the road noise, don't misinterpret it as a bad wheel bearing which is what I did at first.
Nice not to have a front license plate, huh? The front end looks so much cleaner w/o one.

Those are the wheels on my new Jaguar I'm picking up tomorrow (Saturday) !! They look nice.
Mine's a 2003 XJ6 Sport on 30k miles and one owner. Thing is, though, the wheels showed evidence of kerbing, which the dealer is getting sorted out via refurbishment company, but they do look awfully easy to damage. I gather the chrome rim trims are replaceable having had a quick look on eBay, but the rims have to be split to do this, of course.
Ride is a bit harsher than the normal Jaguar 'boulevard' ride the saloons have. Of course I am the old man you are trying to get away from, Ha Ha !

stevetech - Thanks man! The car actually had a front plate bracket installed when I got it, and I hate it. I pulled the bumper, stripped it, and took it to a body shop for filling/paint. Removal/install took no time. Amen on the 452s though. Mine were only $508 shipped.. haha
cinci - I gave $2,000 for the wheels from a place in Michican
Fraser - Congrats on the new ride! Be sure to get some pics up.
fila - Those are not the stock fog lamps. When I had the bumper off I replaced them with PIAA Ion Yellow. If you decide to order some, H1 is NOT the correct size bulb you need, but it's what every listing shows. I believe it turned out to be an H3, but I'd have to look again to be sure.

Love the look, i was thinking of getting the Sepangs for my '06 XJ8L. Hows the road noise with those 20's and the Falken tires?
Is the suspension any lower on the XJR than it is on the XJ8? Sometimes the lower profile tires don't look good unless it fills the wheel well. Your's look great.

Hey dallas.. I just saw your post and was going to link you to this. There may be a *tiny* bit more road noise, but nothing that bothers me. Whatever noise is there can't be heard with the radio on at a low to medium volume. And thanks to the air suspension, ride quality hasn't been affected.
