Yes, exactly! I will say with the car acting better yesterday's commute was a pleasure. Decided there's nothing I'd rather sit in for 2 hours a day so doesn't look like she's going anywhere. Other than the suspension and fuel issue the car is beautiful and in great shape, and I'll get those sorted soon enough.

So I've had the car for nearly a month now and its grabbed a hold of me, I'm in love with it. Have driven in every day since I brought it home and put nearly 1500 miles on it so far. Ordered the suspension parts and will get to them soon, but the car seems to be driving better and better the more I drive it so going to leave it alone for a bit.

I actually ended up getting another daily drive to split duty with the Jag and prevent any issues with downtime as I make any repairs. Wasn't really planning on it, but its a car I am very familiar with and I jsut couldn't pass it up. Its a 2008 Buick Lacrosse Super with the 5.3L LS4 V8 and only 5000 original miles! Almost a shame to drive it, but that's what it was built for. I bring this up because I went to look at the Buick last Saturday and drove the Jag out to Jersey about 60 miles to see it. I was super excited to get in a virtually "new" w-body GM and halfway down the block on my test drive I missed the Jag already. I think I've been utterly spoiled and will need one of these in my life at all times The Buick is very nice, but the Jag is just a step above in every department. Except maybe power, the Buick does haul pretty good and has a great exhaust note, but on my long commute I think I'll be reaching for the Jag keys more often than not.

Here are a few pictures of the evening it came home, its currently sleeping in the garage next to its big brother, the 87 Grand National. Will need to get a new set of tires, the original Michelins from 2007 ride nice and are free of dry rot, but I dont take chances with old tires.

Yes, the Jag is the odd man out, but I think I love it the most at this point (besides maybe the GN, but that's an entirely different beast). I actually look forward to longer driving trips now, its the absolute best highway cruiser I've ever owned and just so comfortable.
