Default No Parking Sensors

Just noticed the rear parking sensors are not alarming like normal. With the car in reverse, all 4 sensors are clicking normally, no warnings on the dash. Module wiring is clean. Wondering where to look next.

The reverse parking aid module is on the SCP network so try to obtain the DTCs (B codes).
It could be the 'sounder' (AKA loudspeaker).

I don't know the impedance of the sounder but it might be marked on the speaker.

I may just look at the speaker and try testing it. I don't have a reader for body codes. I kind of thought there was nothing else left but the speaker, if the sensors are all triggering, the module is probably okay. I looked at the location diagram and it looks like it must be under the package shelf inside the trunk area. Would pulling out the lining under the package shelf be the way to get to it? thanks for the help

The shade tree test for the sensors is to listen closely at each sensor when the car is in reverse . They click rapidly if they are working. Just be sure not to get run over!
