Default No start after programming fobs

Hey all, I’ve got myself in a bit of a jam.

I was given 3 keys and fobs with my car when I got it but only 1 (maybe 2 not sure) of them would start or unlock the car. All 3 keys open the doors and boot manually though. I did the programming method with the flashing headlights and such and successfully got all 3 fobs to lock and unlock the car but now none of the 3 will start the car and after some attempts much of the electronics have shut down. No navigation or headlights and the fobs no longer operate the locks but the car will do a couple chirps when I hit the lock button. I tried disconnecting the negative battery terminal for a while but same results. I’m basically immobilized and don’t know what to do now. Anyone know what’s going on? My original key should still start the car at least but that’s not the case.

Sounds like a low battery problem. Check/charge your battery. Could be bad or charging circuit not up to par. Also could be ground/DDM issue.

Here’s the culprit the battery happened to go dead at the same time I finished programming the fobs. Got the car running and took it for a spin this evening. Might need a new battery even though I supposedly have only a 1 year old battery in there. Maybe something is draining it. The car has a brand new alternator that’s got maybe 600 miles on it.

Get your battery tested -Rock Auto FOC

I just bought a battery tester $30 from China
It will test the charging circuit too.
