Default O2 sensor replacement

For the first time I had a mil light on the dash.

Car soft scanner indicated B1 S1 sensor fault and I replaced it

with a Bosch universal.

Light was off for a short while then it was back.

Scanner showed voltage on the other three sensors but none
on B1 S1.

Anyone have experience of this?

Stop press

The light is off atm.

Is that kind actually a suitable replacement? (I'm doubtful.)

Replace like for like and make sure they are the real deal not fake ones. I bought a "genuine" bosch from ebay but it failed instanltly with the same fault, heater error. I then bought from a specialist emissions shop at 3x the price and guess what.. worked and still is. Lesson learnt there.

Thanks for your replies

Bosch is a good brand-or used to be.

I have confirmed that the Bosch probe is faulty.

I will be getting a refund via Pay Pal.

DENSO is the Engine Management System so I generally use DENSO replacement parts.
