I drove over 1000 mile Washington DC to Tampa all highway, had no problems except for very harsh ride. I replace air system completely with Arnott regular strut kit for about $1100, installed myself with excellent instructions form Arnott. Good Luck. Ken

2010 XF Premium, every option. Now has 126k miles. Love the 5.0 snarl, dislike averaging 11.9 mpg but I am hard on it and knew it wasn't a prius when I bought it lol. No major issues, except being OCD and it being black lol
I appreciate everyone's input, I realize I have terrible forum etiquette I apologize. I ended up driving on them for 2 months and then my coworker hit my poor baby parked at work. When the body shop called they asked me about the suspension and I played Dumb and they said well it looks like they took out the compressor so your car is going to be totaled $14,000 in damage. Terrible car Karma and that XJ8 is a classic and I want to buy another one but I replaced it with something almost has nice. I appreciate your replies I purposely did not get in a newer XK because of air suspension. As I was poor at the time with bad credit and air suspension failure would have ruined me. Very Happy with its replacement. cheers all

Everytime I see an XJ I miss mind but I'll get one again sometime soon. Gorgeous gorgeous cars!!!

We changed 3 out of 4 old Bilstein suspensions with new Arnott suspensions because one of the 4 new Arnott suspensions ıs not working, 2 on the rear and 1 on the front: We are waiting for replacement of the 4th non-working part. However, after changes, the front suspension drops 2 cm and the rear suspension drops 5 cm 1 hour after turning off the engine. When restarting the engine. suspension resumes to normal after 30 sec. We hope after replacing the 4th old Bilstein suspension with a new Arnott suspension on the front to complete the replacement of all 4 suspensions that the issue will be resolved. Does anyone have any experience with this type of issue? Thanks.
