Are all the o-rings on these cars metric?

I went to change the 2 rings on the PCV (RH valve cover), and of course the ones that came off fell between two sizes in my SAE assortment. Also wanted to replace the o-ring that seals the output coupler on my suspension compressor and had the same issue.

Thanks,
-Michael

Well, they should be, as a UK-built car there is a legal commitment to metric under European Union regulations.

Only where parts have been in use over a very long time without alteration are Imperial measurements still in use, like tyres. Jaguar did actually supply metric tyres in the '80s but they were so expensive to replace and almost impossible to find in the USA, they were soon dropped. Of course, a 18" wheel can be measured in metric, of course, but it's just not done !

Makes sense... I will have to get a metric oring assortment so I can replace these things with the correct size.

Thank you!
