Overheating shortly after starting, valley & tb hoses burst
Hello, 2007 VDP here
I have replaced a previously burst valley hose with a new oem.
Drove around the block for about 7-10- minutes, and engine started overheating fast (coincided (or not) w turning AC On, a few min earlier?..);
Got home within a minute. Switched engine off.
Under the hood - the return tb hose burst at the connecting point, and coolant also gushing out at the valley hose [upper] connection (to plastic inlet/top of engine).
What could be the cause for overheating? Any recommended sequence how to test the cooling system at home?
No codes before; apparently clean oil; thermostat, water & aux water pump all original
Thank you

Most probably an air lock IMO.
Lift the front up and drain the coolant to start again.
Add coolant slowly and after putting in say 3 litres
run the engine very briefly then add more and run it again
Keep doing that and take your time until you get coolant
out of the bleeder on the tank .It may take a little while
Fill to the mark and drive it then check level again
Repeat
