Got the car back today. Motor seems to be a lot quieter and operating a lot smoother. Noticed also acceleration times are a LOT shorter. They gave me the old throttle body per my request. I will post pics of it as soon as I can. The inside of it is completed caked with carbon build up Which makes me wonder how the rest motor looks. Should I consider taking it apart to clean or does it matter or is there another way to clean?

It would definitely be smoother than running by injector intervention! This was the reason for the rough running. The ECM was in default and running the engine by directly modifying the injector pulse widths without the throttle plate involved. Glad to hear you got it fixed.

So far, no more limp mode and the car is purring as it should, pun intended.

DUH!!

See how hard it is to chime in on a topic from here on Mars?? Always a day late and TWO dollars short........... Gees!

Glad to here the throttle body took care of it. A 2005 with P2135, I was just sure that was the cause.

Cheers,
