Paint shop recommendations in Southern California

I have a 2004 XJR. Unfortunately, it spent the first ten years of its life outside. I now wax regularly and keep it covered...but it's too late. The clear coat is going and it has really take a turn the last six months.
My issue, other than finding a decent shop, is finding a decent shop that won't cost more than the car is worth![Smile](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I had this same issue with my 2002 truck. KBB around $8000-$9000 with shops quoting that much to paint it (it's a dually). I went with a $2000 paint job. It was better than the flaking off and missing paint, but was an awful job (that is being generous). I just figure it is better than the original paint and all I could do.
I think with the Jag, I would just let it go rather than a bad paint job.
Any suggestions?
