Default Passenger mirror override ?

On my 2004 XJ8, when I put the car in reverse, the mirror
points down to give the driver a "curb view". However, I
back my car into my driveway, and Ineed the mirror to
stay in place so I can see the wall on my right. Is there
any way I can override the mirror pointing down?

Thanks in advance for any help Guys!

A dealer or an independant garage with access to IDS will be able to program that for you. You can have either the LH or RH mirror dip, both, or neither. It should be a ten minute job to hook up and program.
