Pics and information of my X358
I see in other sections that there are threads for to show pictures of there cars. So I figured i would start it with my car.
This is a 2009 XJ8 SWB, and this is only 1 of 333 produced, and it is also only 1 of 230 that were produced for the USA market. This car has 25,735 miles and is all original, and this car has received 7 perfect 100's in 9 Jaguar JCNA concoures over the last 3 years. Hope you all like the pictures.

I was going to buy an XE when they come out. Then I saw on at a dealer show, and loved the look, but was did no feel that the interior was nice, but "Not Proper Jag" as some would say. I also saw the updated version of the XF and it was very nice exterior, but the interior was just a bigger version of the XE in may opinion. I love my XJ8. I also own a 2014 XF. I posted pics of it in that section if you want to see. Thanks

Very nice! And yes, Liquid Silver truly suits the 358; must be why it featured prominently in the ‘09 sales brochure.
I’m also lucky enough to have an ‘09 in Liquid Silver, but the XJR variant with quite a few more miles, as it is likely turn over 100K in just the next few days.
I’m curious about where you found the production numbers for these models. My understanding has always been that numbers were very low, but have never seen anything published

Thanks
I did not see anything publish, but I was able to email a person at Jaguar Heritage. I asked them how many of my Jaguar's were produced. I finally got a reply that said
"There were 298 XJ8 4.2 SWB cars built for 2009 Model year 230 of these went to the USA. Most of these (including your car) were built in 2008 but were made to the 2009 specification. According to our information, again received from Jaguar, the figures in "All the cars' is wrong there were in fact 35 cars of this type produced in 2009 but none of these went to the USA."
You could try to email Jaguarheritage.com to see if they can get you the number of how many of your XJR's were produced.
The only number that I could find so far was 613 cars, but that was 2008, 2009 model year. If you find out please let us all know. I am trying to compile a list of production numbers from 2004 to 2009.
