Default please help me ID my thermostat housing

After hunting coolant leaks for some time, I spotted coolant loss on the platic tube left of the thermostat-cabinet.
I think this part belongs to the thermostat-housing-part.
In EPC, the picture is buggy, as the picture labels this part as "14", but the legend missed number 14.

If I use website, no part is shown, when I enter my engine data.

Is there a way to get the correct ID for the thermostat-housing-part of my Jag ?

Additional info:

Often I read " for all 3.5l & 4.2l V8 from VIN: G49701"
My car is G098XX. So what has changed on this part ? Can I still use it ?

What year and model is your car? Which engine is it?

Yes, it is strange that the JLR spare parts catalogue in this case only starts from VIN 49700 for item no.14, you can only find the number for the whole assembly.

This seems to be part no AJ89485, which is available at Jaguar Hermann, for example. Maybe also SNG Barratt has it. I have not found item 14 of the JLR catalogue anywhere.

I hope that this helps a bit.

One thing from my side: I am a bit confused about the data of your car. You state 10/2003 and VIN G098xx.

My car,a Super V8, has definitely been built in September 2003 according to the Jaguar heritage certificate, but has VIN G20252.

So, either Jaguar did not use sequential VINs, or your car should have been built much earlier than mine. Is there someone out there who has an explanation?

Best regards,

Thomas

My Jag is 11/2003 and I have replaced the the whole part in the diagram.
Vin G2236-
No 14 is just for shipping and is disposable.

The bolts are small, soft and very tight hence
I would recommend that you use 'Bolt Biters to' remove.
If you decide to change the water pump too I suggest
that you use AC Delco and not the cheaper one like I did
and it was NBG.
Bolt Biters are expensive but amazing-you can even replace a bolt
with a damaged head if necessary.

My "10/2003" is based on the date of first registration. I have no idea, in which phase they set the numbers on the cars.
Water pump is already changed to an AC delco. I hope there is no need open the gasket of the waterpump to get the thermostat-housing swapped.

I'm also "in fear of the soft bolts", so I'll try to get something like bolt biters.

Are these bolts tight due to corrosion or did they use clue ?
