Default Please identify this part!

This part broke on my car and I can't figure out exactly what it is called. It is the plastic hose in this picture. What is it called or what is the part number?

It completely snapped and now my car is dead right now. And if you can tell me, what is the process of removing the throttle body? Thanks for any help. My car is a 2004 jaguar xjr.

This is the brake booster hose. You can new on ebay. You will also need to replace the brake booster clip attached to the throttle body.

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/151683084494

BlackKat: Kudos for identifying that hose! I had checked all the parts diagrams except the ones for brakes.

Hustle Hyde:
It's Part 7 in this diagram from the Electronic Parts Catalog, which you can download from this forum and install on your own computer:

Per the EPC or BlackKat's second link, the Jaguar part number for that pipe is AJ84256. For comparison to the eBay price of $27.85 with free shipping, the price at jaguarmerriamparts.com, the Jag dealer in Merriam, Kansas, is $16.38 plus shipping of $10.95 for a total of $27.33; the price at gaudinjaguarparts.com, the Jag dealer in Las Vegas, Nevada, is $15.79 plus shipping (I'm not sure of their rates).

Cheers,

Don

Thanks the quick response. I just ordered both those parts Black Cat gave me from ebay.

I had a mechanic try to fix this vacuum leak a few weeks ago and he couldn't get the throttle body off and it seems he made the leak worse. Maybe he messed up more gaskets, I'm not sure. But he did mention that he spilled alot of coolant into the intake. Should I worry about that? It is running very rough now, won't idle correctly, and shakes and stalls. I'm hoping all this is only caused by this brake booster leak. I plan on changing the oil just in case.

Is it really hard to remove the throttle body to connect the new hose when I get it? Because it looks like I'm gonna have to do this by myself. I bought to mechanic repair manual for my car off ebay, it was a pdf file, to help me with this task.

FYI I learned this the hardway by replacing the clip multiple times.
Check to see the status of the rubber o ring inside of the brass sleeve inside the throttle body.
Mine was deteriorated so bad it was missing.you don't have to replace the brass sleeve but you can replace the rubber o ring from the package you receive from the clip kit.

What is everything that needs to be removed to gain access to the throttle body?
