Default Please tell me what these 3 parts are called

Hi Guys
Looking at the back axle on my 2004 XJ8 3555cc UK spec RHD, saw some parts that look like they need changing. Would you be so kind and tell me what they are called so I can order them?
Thanks for any help.

What item 1 is, I haven't a clue, but obviously it's a pipe of some sort. A photo from further away may give a better clue.

Item 3 is the rear tie rod that controls toe in/out of the rear wheels. I had to have new ones eventually on a 2003 X350. Normally it is the bush at the outer end that fails. Not toooo expensive: -

I found No 3 at only 30 quid each but the brand I never heard of, LCP, and can't even find a manufacturer called this

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264524037...2Cchnl%3Dmkcid

should I stay clear? :-)

Depends what miles you're doing. It is probably OK, to be honest, there are plenty around at this sort of price. Here's what SNG Barratt sell, and it includes aftermarket. I'd trust them for the parts, but not sure about some of these eBay supplies

You can rely on the Lemforder one, and the official Jaguar one is probably a Lemforder one anyway, with Jaguar kissing it up the a*se with a big percentage add-on for the Jaguar-labelled box.

if it’s before around G29000 there’s a chance it never got recall j012 done and they’ll fix it for free. obviously the car is gonna sit on their lot for like a year because nobody wants to do that job, but hey it’s free

if not, he’s in for a ride

By the look of the corrosion, he shouldn't hold his breath for a free replacement, it's just a brake line.
Why the brake line concerned me, is that some years ago (on a Non-Jag Non-ABS) I had a brake failure due to corrosion at the wrong possible time. Came within inches. Didn't have time to "pump the brakes". But I swear I warped the chassis with my pressure on the brakes.

so after replacing the rear stabilizer bars and drop links, i took it for wheel alignment. Im in spain so having a hard time communicating with the mechanic, but from what I could understand he said the left rear wheel was straight but seemed to lean in at the top, heres the wheel report..

he said it could be a silent bloc? if anyone has any advice im all ears. Could it be a fault with the air suspension? as i drove it to get aligned there was a fault with air suspension coming up on the dash when i didnt have it before, i thought it would go away once the wheels were aligned. well i assumed that. strange how i didnt have the fault before i replaced these drop links and stabilizer bars

bad bushings on the lower wishbone will give you extra negative camber. your left side is probably toast

his sheet is looking at the specs for an X308, tell him to look for 04 and up or an s-type as reference. i think they’re about -1 from the factory

i did notice this, I told him and he said they were the same, his exact words.."La alineación es la misma, No cambia" which either translates No cambia to No change or he meant 0 camber. so you see my difficulty :-)
