Default Powerwash relay

Checking my car (2006 X350)over for the annual test and I noticed that the headlamp wash was not working. The pump checks out ok, tank is full, headlights on, fuse ok etc so the prime suspect seems to be the powerwash relay. This is R11 in the engine bay fuse box but seems to live under a fixed cover and is part of a PCB. I wonder if this part is available and if anyone has changed it or replaced it with a regular relay.
Any theories, thoughts and ideas most welcome.

Pete

If you can hear the pump run it is probably a blocked filter on the pump.

A common fault.

The pump runs and pumps fine when I jump a 12v supply to it but there's no power coming to it when it should. The fuse is ok but there are some unservicable relays in the front fuse box and the powerwash relay is one of them. The headlight washers are something that I can certainly live without, it just niggles a bit when something doesn't work.

The best solution then is to replace the fuse box pcb's.

It can be repaired but it's not easy.

I must admit it's the first time I've come across a fuse box with built in electronics. It doesn't say anything about it in the manual, as far as I can see and I wonder what other functions it performs.
If it isn't part of the test the logical thing would be to live without headlight washers. Test is booked for this morning so fingers crossed.
