Question about possibly removing side molding and signal light from fender

Is this possible on a 2004 ? I would like to get the smooth look of the 06' and above? Can those side moldings and that little signal light on the fender be eliminated as in the 06' and above models?

Seems very possible, and I might recommend it! Though I cannot comment on the replacement of the side marker...
