Radiator C2C26769 upper hose
Hello all,
Today, I replaced my X350 y2007's blowed up C2C26769 upper radiator hose.
After finished all required job, I slowly start fill the lost radiator 50/50 fluid using the expansion tank.
My questions are:
1. How safely fill the fluid at the correct volume and not over?
2. How to make sure that ALL air got into system before/during/after hose exploding is truly out and only radiator fluid remain in
system?
3. Does anybody has this XJ (X350) Cooling System Drain Fill Bleed R&I.pdf file (wrong

You can't over fill? Not sure what your worried about here? Fill it all the way and see how the air bleeds out.
The car will burp the air out after several heat/cool cycles. Make sure to NOT over heat the car because it will have air bubbles in the beginning.
So keep an eye on the temp gauge.
One other tip; It's a very poor practice to replace one hose on an old car like yours. They all need replacing and you will keep getting leaks until they are all replaced. Since you need to take things apart anyway for this repair combine the job with the additional hoses for a one and done repair.
Can you DIY the work? Really should swap the entire coolant out too. It needs it.
