Radiator Hose Replacement & Cost

(2004 XJR - 54K miles)
I had a low coolant light. Took it to the dealer and they say I have an EGR Radiator Hose leakig at both ends and needs replacement. They say it's the hose that runs from front to back of engine and requires significant labor to remove and replace. They suggested replacing the other smaller hose that runs from radiator to engine as well as it shows signs of seepage at connection and will become week point when other hose is replaced.
quote is as follows:
1) EGR Hose $24
2) Small Hose $130
2) Labor to replace both hoses: $1200
WTF?
I know I am paying a premium as it is the dealer, but is this really that labor intensive?

If you have the supercharged engine yes it is a big job as the hose run under the supercharger and inlet manifold.
Its sill a big job on the non s/c but not that bad
My suggestion is to purchase the hose take it to an indy.
Again if you hav ethe S/C engine, it is also worth checking out the small 90 deg hose that goes from the block to the rear of the thermostat housing. A leak here looks like a valley hose issue but is a easy fix.
Cheers

Well, this is a first for me...really, it's the first time in my life I have ever had a dealer (let alone a Jaguar dealer!) offer to do the job cheaper than everyone else?
I got estimates from 2 independent shops and they both quoted higher than the dealer!
Dealer Quote: @ $1400
Indy 1: @ $1800
Indy 2: @ $2000
Crazy!
....and yes, mine has the supercharger.
