Got carpet out, accessing top of strut. Loosened air fitting, some air escaped, which i didn't expect, as right rear is visibly low and wont raise. Whats up with this?

Fired engine, STRONG air supply to right rear strut, why is it holding some air but not rising? A federal investigation is in the works.

There is valve in the top of the strut that is designed to prevent it depressurising below about 30 (?) psi. It's to prevent the bladder collapsing when the air line to the strut is disconnected.

Unhappy Rear Air suspension is in highest position.

Dear Guys,
I have Jaguar XJ8 4.2 litre MY 2004 , I have problem with rear suspensions when i park this car overnight it was rised up to highest position. this is happen after i replaced both rear air suspension strut. I tried to release air pressure in system but the struts are not lower. These look like struts do not release internal pressure.
Can any guys have suggestion to solve this problem
Thank you in advance for your suggestion.

Try to get a Jag specific scanner and read under air suspension. My guess (guess) is that valve block is needing a cleaning/swap. I bought icarsoft LRII. A 930 might do as well.

Good luck getting a scanner to read. Mine says 15 on all four, when right rear is known to be leaking.

Shipment today RMT rear strut. Emailed them and satisfied with their response. Included: return label, prepaid. Does dealer offer this service?
