Default Restricted performance again! (2005 xj8)

I'm getting code P0327 on my 05 XJ8 which is the "Restricted Performance" knock sensor bank 1.

The car is idling/running fine! A few seconds after starting and clearing the code, the message appears (Restricted Performance), but I have no CEL. I checked the knock sensor and get 200 ohms; therefore, I assume the sensor is ok. I also plugged in 2 "shelf sensors" which have 200 ohms as well without actually installing them (as recommended to temporarily clear the code), and I still get the code. The car has fresh premium fuel.

I'm lost at this point and would appreciate any help!

Try rebooting the Jag

Disconnect battery leads and touch together for a minute
then reconnect battery.
You will need to reset windows but not the radio PIN in N America?

Which Benz do you have?

Sorry, but it is the right hand bank sensor you are checking? That code indicates poor contact with the block as one failure mode, so just attaching another good knock sensor may not help without installing it at the proper torque. Which brings to mind is your at the proper torque? They are quite sensitive that way. It also may be a sense circuit short to ground.

Could be either the harness (water intrusion/corrision) or your PCM might be getting wet. Had this happen on my 04 XJR. It sorted itself out.

The thing that bothers me is your KS and replacement KS both are at spec at 200 ohms.
