Hey everyone, I have decided to put my Mina Gallery axle-back up for sale.

The exhaust system has only been on my car for less than 6 months. During that time, it has sustained normal wear and tear...but nothing major that affects the overall look of the exhaust. You would have to be very very close to the exhaust to notice the small surface scratches.

I'll clean everything up before I ship it out. If you would like recent pictures, let me know. The attached pictures are of the exhaust when it was new and on the car.

Why are you selling and did you see or feel a performance gain after installing ?

 

I am selling because I am going to be having a custom cat-back made for my car.

As for performance gains, my butt dyno tells me that the car pulls stronger to redline. If you'll notice, power on a stock setup feels like it tapers off right before redline and right before it shifts. With this exhaust, this feeling is eliminated.

 

Ok, i gotcha ! Those custom exhausts can be pricey tho.

Did you have a drone in the car? I had a drone from an aftermarket set on my CTS-V, but I curious to put a system on the XJR.

 

It is funny that you mention that...in my first review of the system, I did mention of a drone.

If you are coming from the stock system, then yes, you will hear more of the exhaust. At first, I was thinking this was exhaust drone...I am used to very quiet cars. (Coming from Lexus)

You are talking about the CTS-V with an LS6 right? My friend has one with a catback and, well, that car is one-hundred times louder in car, and out, than compared to my XJR with the Mina axle-back.

The exhaust drone, or note I should say, has grown on my from the Mina System. I love driving my car around with the radio off and listening to the subtle tone the exhaust makes. I'll miss it...but I do have high hopes for my custom catback!
