OK I know its been there 12 years but...
Went out today to visit some friends we haven't seen for a while so I couldn't remember the exact place, (in Shrewsbury) where they lived. Pulled in to a lay-by to enter their post code as normal and as done many times before and the entry screen wouldn't come up, nor would the little map of Europe you get with my disc. Pressing the button for Address entry brought no new screen. All very puzzling, so I turned off the engine to see if it would reset- no, same as before. Went round to boot and tried to take the disc out; disc would not come out. So, gave up, and phoned them and found we were almost there, so no problem.

Got back home and left ignition on, went to trunk and again tried to get disc out and this time it came out. I inserted it back in, and all seems back to normal. At no time did any fault message come up.

So the question is - anybody else had this, and if so do you know the cause ?
