Default Scan Tool

Hello,
I am currently dealing with a suspension issue and have the following faults appear on my dashboard
Air suspension fault
Cats system fault
Vehicle too low

I hooked up a scanning tool to help me diagnose between the shocks and the compressor however I get no fault codes. After i connect the tool it makes me choose between engine and AT. Do I need to connect it somewhere else to be able to read suspension fault codes?

What scan tool are you using? Generic scanners will not pickup Jaguar specific codes.

Lots of info on scan tools in this forum.

Ancel ad310 as far as I can tell is generic so will not pickup Jaguar specific codes.

Have a look at the above thread.

I have the i930 scanner quick and easy and also the JLR SDD not so quick and easy but you can program device controllers if you know what you are doing.

I read through the link you sent me. However, that link was written in 2010. Is the info that old or has it been updated?
