Seat cushions
Hey Everyone,
I was thinking about removing the drivers and passengers seat cushion so I could give it a good cleaning and possibly recondition the leather. I searched the forum but couldn't find anything about removing only the seat cushions. Does anyone know how I would go about doing that?
Thank you,
Mathew

Thanks for the info...... I was thinking, which usually leads to bad things but would it be possible to swap the drivers and passengers seats? I know that the seat controls would have to stay on their respective sides, but would it be a simple bolt and unbolt project? My drivers seat is far more worn then my passenger seat which rarely see's anyones behind. Until I do somthing about the worn drivers seat I thought that this might be a viable option if it is at all possible.
Thank you,
Mathew

You'll see that worn bolster EVERY time, won't that get annoying?
I've been told you can have an upholstery shop swap the piece of leather from one seat to the other, dye the one you moved to the passenger side, and you get the new one. The dyed piece lasts much longer in the passenger seat than if you just dyed the driver outside bolster area...trust me, did this twice, always rubs off in about a year.
