Seat height adjustment issue.

Well this all worked fine until yesterday.
The passenger seat will no longer raise or lower the rear portion of the seat bottom. The motor starts, and the seat lifts a very small amount and then stops. It will then lower that same small amount. The front part of the seat works fine. All of the rest of the seat adjustments work correctly.
This happened while I was doing a deep cleaning of the interior of the car and the seat was as low as it can go, and as far back as it could go. I wonder if I set it passed it's range somehow.
I am hoping there is something jammed, stopping the seat from going up, but I don't know where to start looking.
Any ideas?

I got mine fixed, but not without a trip to the dealership.
All they did to fix it was to lubricate the screw/track that the motor operates. Once it was past the binding point it ran fine. The lub they used stunk up the car for two weeks.
So find the motor under the seat, lub the drive screw with some silicon lube seemed to be the answer. I have not had the problem again, but I am also careful not to let it run to the end of it's travel.
