Default Series 2 compatibility

Hello pls tell me if im in the wrong place im completely new to forums (and cars for that matter)

My dad has given me an 74 xj6 that has been sitting in his driveway for 7 years (hes a motorbike guy...)

And now ive purchased an 76 xj6 with a decent body but no motor or box.
My question is are the parts compatible?
The 74 apparently had nothing wrong with it when it was parked up, but now the body is rusted. It has a 350 chev engine in it....

Again if im in the wrong place or theres already information on this forum relevant pls direct me thanks!

As you suspect, you are in the wrong forum ! Get this post moved to the Classic Jags section, and the forum for XJ6 & XJ12 1968-1992.
