Serviced gearbox refuses to adapt 1-2 shift
Since servicing my gearbox with Lifeguard fluid replacement, all new external valve body seals, and new solenoids, I have a newly jerky 1-2 shift. Abonano from this forum kindly agreed to help me update my TCM software and clear the adaptations to see if we could learn anything. What we found out is that the transmission refuses to set any adaptation codes for the 1-2 shift. All other adaptations set within a few minutes but after at least 20 attempts we could not get the 1-2 to work. See picture of the final screen below. Any ideas???
Thanks in advance for any advice.

To add...
2005 Super V8... 4.2 SC engine.
Yes, this was a bizarre experience.
Even with within the "normal" turbine torque range in 1 gear (which was difficult to maintain) when up shifting to 2nd - no dice on adaptions.
In performing these adaptions previously the 1 - 2 upshift (C clutch) is usually the first adaption to set.
The 1 - 2 up shift and 2 -1 downshift was jerky on light to moderate acceleration.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
We also found a P0101 MAF DTC set when scanning the vehicle.
Hard downshift when I initially drove the car before hooking up to IDS set a "gearbox" fault.
Restarting the car twice and it went away. 1 - 2 upshift and 2 - 1 did not feel normal. (In comparison to my 04 XJR)
No TCM codes were present when I checked DTC's and newest PCM and TCM software versions installed...
My advice to Jeff was to take care of MAF hard set code first then look into the valve body and solenoids....
