Default Should know better, after market part

Had my 2007 xj8 front hub replaced with a $80 aftermarket part, After 4 weeks the sensor failed, Dealership want $900 Canadian for Jaguar part, Anyone have any experience of good aftermarket parts,,, if there is such a thing, Have read good reports about Detroit Axle hubs, the do seem very cheap,,
Appreciate any comments or advice,
Dave

I've used two sets (so far) from Detroit Axle. Replace them whenever I mount new tires eg: @ around 20K miles.

Keep in mind that they use ball bearings in an application that should have tapered roller bearings for superior impact resistance, so the lower rolling resistance gained has to be paid-back with abysmally shorter lives on rough roads.

I was very pleased with the Moog units I replaced factory OEM with. Available on RockAuto. Originally ordered some cheaper ones, but on inspecting them on receipt, the quality was really lacking on metal finish and milling. So I sent them back and ordered Moog, and been performing well since install.
