Default Shudder, cruise and dsc unavailable

Hey guys,
On my way to church this morning I experienced a shudder (felt like abs) I started to slow down and it went away.

When leaving church I got "dsc is unavailable" and "cruise control unavailable". And I have not experienced the shudder anymore.

I will mention it has been 20f-30f degrees lately if that helps. And I've noticed a loud whining when first starting the car that goes away once warmed up. I'm assuming the power steering as it's always been noisy.

Of course I'm about to complete sale on the car and this crap happens and I haven't had a problem with the car my entire ownership!!!

Thanks for all your help in advance!

DSC and the speedometer (hence cruise control) gets speed info from the ABS sensors.

I would suspect ABS wiring or connector then sensor itself.

Maybe a code will reveal which one.

A 5 minute solution maybe just to clean the front wheel ABS sensors. It really does only take 5 minutes. It cleared my ABS/DSC issues.

Thanks for the replies! It had been raining for a few days and below freezing before all of this happened. I hadn't taken the car on a drive over 5 miles during the error. However after a little 20 mile highway run the code has disappeared, I assume the abs sensors were dirty or icy but the issue is gone now thanks for all of your help!
