I don't work for SNG Barratt... but have bought from them for years. They used to have the WORST WEBSITE ON EARTH. Now, it might just be the best. They must have licensed Jaguars parts diagrams, because they now have them posted from like WWII to present except current cars. Rather than pay for an X350 diagram, now it's free... this is useful even if you aren't buying anything and just want to see how something goes together:
SNG Barratt - The Ultimate Jaguar Parts Specialist
Sort of feels like the Jaguar Classic Spares site but that never covered the X350.

I see the two part numbers you describe, one with a # sign after. I vaguely remember them telling me once if it has a Jaguar part number, it's from Jaguar. If it has a # it's from Jaguars OEM supplier but might not be boxed, and a * means aftermarket. But if you need an air shock, let's be serious here, Arnott is the only way to go. I have had one on my car for five years. I'm surprised they don't carry Arnott rebuilt shocks.
