Hi guys
this is an unusual request but i am a funeral director who has had to change thebattery on his hearse, as a result the stereo is now asking for a code - a code i sadly dont have
Try as i have i cannot suss out how to remove the stereo to get the radio out to then get the serial number from the radio to then get a code...
every video i have looked at is a different console to mine and its doing my head in - HELP!
i have included a picture of the stereo the hearse is a 2006 3liter petrol built on a x350 chassis
Have you dug through any manuals in the glove box? There should be a credit card looking card with your codes. Mine was hiding in between some of the manual pages. That said, I can say I have never seen a Jaguar Hearse. Post a pic when you can.
Your local dealer should have access to the code after you prove ownership.
Never needed the code to turn the stereo on after disconnecting the battery on mine.
I think US cars do not need a code. Britain cars required a radio code, which am assuming this hearse is. As said by Wingrider, the dealers have access to a data base and should be able to help you. Never understood, why anyone would even want a Jag Radio in one of these cars to steal. They would be worthless for anything other than a Jag.
