Sport mode not working...
Hey fellow Jag'sters; ok, so I did some searching on this, but not much came up, so maybe there's not many, to any with this issue (although, I hope so, just to get a resolution)
But the title says it; I engage the button, & nothing happens; no LED, nothing showing on the cluster (I'm assuming it does bc it shows in my RRS ) no downshift when I'm sitting still & engage the button, so,,,, it notta work! Hahaha
Anyone else with this?..

Try a hard reset and see what happens.
- Disconnect both battery cables from battery
- Turn on ignition
- Turn off ignition
- Connect battery cables together
- Turn on ignition
- Turn off ignition
- Reconnect battery cables to battery
- Start the car
- Let it idle for about 10 Minutes

Thanks for the reply Don. Funny thing is, while I was typing the original post, I was sayin to myself, "I bet Don B is going to be the 1st to answer".
I was close in my thinking! Hahaha
In regard to the reply, I'm assuming that everything gets reset? & when you say, "connect the battery cables together", I don't know why, but that seems a bit scary to me!..

They are not connected to the battery so nothing to worry about. What your looking to do is drain the capacitors in any of the control units/modules in the car. Now of course you wouldn't take the negative or positive cables and touch them to third opposites while one is still connected to the battery. Perhaps this is what you were thinking?

Disconnect positive and negative cables.
Turn ignition swith on, position 2.
Leave on for an hour (or so).
Reconnect both cables.
This will allow the capacitors to drain on their own.

Shisk!!!
Ok,,,, so,,,, last night for the 1st time since I've had the car, I decided to give her a good "punch to the floor"!
JEEEZZZZ!!! After doing that, I'm like, "FARK SPORTS MODE"!!! Hahaha
Heck, who needs it when the car is that fast!?!? I'd hate to do that in an XJR or SuperV8. Wowwww!!!
Ok, I just had to get that out!..
