I look forward to the results slowpoke :-) sport cats and the exhaust should also be on your mod list (if not already) the car then sounds as it should with a few more horses thrown in to the mix.
Trying to get dyno time in...But work has been hectic......Always something@! Did manage to fix engine mounts however and now have a transmission line leak. Ill get it done soon enough

What brand and type of sport cats and exhaust would you recommend for my 04 XJR?
I am running generic stainless steel 2.5 inch bore 200 cell sport catssteel put on extension pieces for the downstream o2 sensors to stop any fault codes (10000 miles in and no codes).
The exhaust is a bespoke 2.5 inch bore front to back with x pipe a pair of small silencers in front of the rear axle and a pair of larger back boxes with 4 inch slash cut tailpipes .
The company that made the exhaust said they would do others using mine as a template if there were enough interest but the total price Inc sport cats would be around £1500.
My opinion it's worth it check out the clip of my car with intake and exhaust/sport cats
I wanted to let those who are interested, but not pulled the trigger on this upgrade, I wanted to let you know that I have one for sale. I was able to pull it from my superV8 after the accident. First one who PMs me and wants to pay $100 shipped in the US, gets it. Not a scratch on it and has all of the hardware you'll need.

I wish someone would make something like this for the NA engines. It would be nice to replace that plastic ripply tube with the unsightly resonator attached to it.
Sounds good, at about 75mph I pull 32, so doesn't sounds like the pipe makes any difference, don't want it to drop like it did when I installed 200 cells cats in my old one.
