Default Still Looking

I have been looking for some time now for the number of 2008 XJR's that were produced.

Have been told that a total of 5912 X358's were produced but the elusive XJR number is still unknown. I would think with a total of 5912 world wide the XJR number would be relatively small.

If anyone knows the number please post it.

Do you have a source for the 5912 x358's? This would be a great fact to reference as I'm looking to sell mine.

Here is the information as I received it.

The only information I have is from Nigel Thorley’s book “Jaguar , All the cars” but it does not specify individual models. The total figure for all 358s for 2008 is 5912 and that would include American sales.
Try emailing Nigel Thorley .... nigelthorley@jec.org.uk

Richard,

I suspect the number is fairly low, as I searched for months to find one, and settled due to the pool being very sparse. Funny enough, a month after buying mine, a guy in my housing development past me in a clone (black on tan) '08, and we both slammed on our brakes / did a triple take and did the "where did you come from" face; Small world!

I too would love to know even the US importation number, but if I had to guess a number, I'd put my money on 100-200, with 400 being absolute max.

Thanks,

Jeff
