I should also ask, with the interior sunroof panel already removed, i am trying to adjust the sunroof height. The leading front edge seems to be 1 mm higher than it should. It should be flush or lower at front the manual says.
I can release all 4 screws that hold the sunroof to the menchanism. I did this and pressed down on the sunroof and retightened, but still the leading edge is 1 mm higher.
So is there some other adjustment screw, one that carefuly lifts or lowers the entire mechanism?

Try posting in the X308 forum. This forum is for the aluminium-bodied XJ saloons and these are totally different from your car, even if the style is very similar.
