Super 8 need Radiator hose Part No.???
A radiator hose needs to be replaced, but from the diagrams I found, I can't seem to identify it??? I attached a picture below. It's a plastic compression connector type hose with a retainer clip. I changed this hose about two year ago and I remember it was hard to get to the button part of the hose under the car. About two months back, it leaked again, at the plastic connection, I cleaned it, put it back on, and it hold until now; tried to take it off again and "broke the plastic connector". Does new hose come with the O-ring and if not, where do I get one???
Beside the fact, I need the part number again <grin>; would it be ok, when I got the new part, I cut the rubber hose under the plastic connector, old and new, and just use a plastic coupler with hose clamps, so I don't have to get under car and hurt my hands??? And does anybody know what size coupler I need? <grin>
Thanks,

I did a couple (many) hours of research on this hose and looks like it's the aux coolant pump (I think it's this pump not the supercharger pump???), Hose - water pump to heater (feed). I went out to my car physically, and traced it to the aux coolant pump (again, i don't think its the SC pump???), just under the expansion tank where you add antifreeze. Looks like they don't sell this hose anymore? What would be my next step to finding this hose?

OK; I did find a plastic connector for a VW Jetta that's $9.00 that might work if I cut the old connector off, the one I broke, and use this Jetta connector. I just can't believe jaguar doesn't have this hose for a 2006, I don't know what else to do??? If it doesn't work, I only lost $9.00... Anybody want to buy a real nice 2006 Super V8 Portfolio with a hose I can't fix?

Thats a great find, & fix, what is the V W part number for others?
This hose for my 04 base XJ8, was still available this past summer.
Wondering if could be used or adapted to fit my 07?
If not, finding the correct replaciement plastic connector pieces.
Gives us the ability to make new ones, just as good as originals.

Hi Wingrider,
Got the part from Autozone for $4.29; it's a Dorman Coolant Hose Connector 902 714 (Duralast DL902-714). People who own Volkswagen or Audi love these, because the price of a new hose is really expensive. I had to use a reducer elbow to get the hose on this part, that I happened to find in my junk collections - The barb side of this part is bigger than the original. I think, a better fit would have been the Dorman Coolant Hose Connector 627-002, than I wouldn't need a reducer elbow ($23.00).
The original part is a: Norman PS3-A NW26-0. So, with some more research, you maybe able to get the original part or crossover to an aftermarket part. Since it was a heater hose, it took a while to bleed all the air out and get hot air into the car, but all and all, it was an easy fix. :-)

I did find the OEM Jaguar heater hose, that goes from the aux. pump to engine: C2C24691 (2006 Super V8); and its about $120.00.
There are other versions of this heater hose for years 2004 - 2009, but, C2C24691, is the only one with a plastic quick connector attach to it.
Other Versions: C2C1976 C2C24575 C2C12952
