Hi there, from the Uk and owner of a 2003 Super V8 for 6months now, im doing a few mods and seeking a bit more power, Iron fist velvet glove, im looking for any info about fitting either a bigger intercooler or a second one at im looking to minimise IAT. Nothing for this kind of thing over here but was thinking along the lines of someone in your warmer states may have had a go.

Seriously consider water injection. Water ONLY, not water/meth, so you do not have to tune. There have been great results if injected BEFORE the blower. I remember looking for a heat exchanger upgrade, and the consensus was it isn't doable on our x350/8s. Of course, when you run water injection, you can up the power considerably with no heat soak.

You do NOT have to tune for a water meth injection system period.
I use such a system without a tune to help keep the charge cooler etc clean as well as offering a cooling effect.
I have also added an additional in line radiator to the SC cooling system along with an upgraded SC pump and twin 6" fans on the front of the additional radiator.
Quite a few other mods as well.

Look at post #25 and #231 in the above thread.
You might want to read the whole thread!
Of all the mods I have done adding the Quaife LSD was by far the best for me. The worst mod was paying to have my SC ported while it was having the smaller pulley machined on.
Many argue, convincingly, that the smaller pulley over revs the SC in the higher rev range of the engine however I like the fact that it adds considerable punch in the mid range as I do not run near the red zone that often.
I should add that another very good "mod" was cleaning out the soft carbon junk in below my TB and in the charge coolers which were pretty badly clogged.
That was the main reason for installing the water/meth system.

It was OTS.
A while ago now however I think it was from a Ford Mustang where people upgrade to a larger SC radiator.
Some mods were necessary to get it to fit including removing some of the hood hinge however not that bad at all.
I had to remove the actual lever part of the hood hinge so need to put hand in a bit more to open the hood now.
Used standard OEM hoses to link it in with existing hoses.
Actually I think it may well have been this:

Use a main radiator sensor to activate the fans.

Hi, just go for a smaller pulley and you'll be happy. There are typically two size ranges to try, one slightly smaller that doesn't need grinding of the supercharger snout and an even smaller one that does require some grinding. The Quaife LSD is a major improvement also, once you do the pulley modification, as you won't have (or at least have much less) traction control cutting in all the time when you move off.
