Super V8 intercooler pump question

I have a question regarding the intercooler pump on my 2005 Super V8.
Is this pump just for intercooler temp. regulation or does it have something to do with heater core distribution of warm coolant.
I have low heat it does work but it takes longer than it should to warm up the interior.
After a long while it cranks out toasty heat and I am talking about 15-20 minutes of driving, way too long. The coldest its been at night here is 45 Deg. its not like it is 5 Deg then ok maybe it might take that long.
Something is amiss and I am trying to think what it may be. Heater core was reverse flushed last year with proper coolant. Engine temp is fine and so is coolant level. I have been told to check the aux pump.
I assume this is the intercooler pump as I cant find any other pump. If so I can check for voltage and I will check input and output temp at the pump to make sure the pump is spinning.
If there is another pump in the system associated with the heater core let me know where it is and i will look there.
Thanks all!!

There are two electric pumps in the s/c X350.
The intercooler pump has nothing to do with your heater.
The aux heater pump is in a very hard place to reach, underneath the radiator reservoir basically right down the bottom of the radiator. You need to remove the reservoir & radiator fan to get to it.
First of all check the fuse on the boot, F8, 10A one.
The pumps aren't the best quality (mine shows a lot of corrosion) but it's most likely the fuse, or a blocked heater matrix
