I visited Santa Pod yesterday with some friends from the UK forum. Had some good fun, the car came 1st against every car it ran against (obviously much faster cars there). My best run was 13.49 @ 105 mph. It was very hot, so probably the cars were suffering from heatsoak, hopefully maybe a 13.2/3 on a cooler day, but am happy with a lowish 13 time.

Here are the results from our group:
1. BigTel (XFR)- 12.89 @ 110.97mph
2. DjDex (XJR Nitrous)- 13.36 @ 107.29mph
3. mrcnc53 (STR Nitrous)- 13.36 @ 105.05mph
4. Alec (Super V8 )- 13.49 @ 105.03mph
5. Shukan (STR)- 13.64 @ 104.57mph
6. Bullseyeant (S-Type 4.0)- 16.05 @ 88.39mph

Caldoofy & Pulley

 

Very cool. Did the STR have any mods? Would've thought it would be faster since it's smaller and lighter. Nice work disposing of the S2000 & BMW.

 

The STR also has the Caldoofy Intake and has the newer VVT engine. I thought the STR was actually slightly heaver, due to being steel, even-though it is smaller.
