Supercharger Oil Change

Hi All,
I am getting a bit of backlash by both the certified Jaguar mechanic at the local dealership (Rated top 10 Jaguar mechanics in the country) and my local independent shop that also specializes in Jaguar's. They both have told me not to change the fluid in my supercharger unless I remove it from the vehicle. They recommend waiting until the supercharger starts leaking or my valley hose needs replacing. I was hoping some can shed some more light on this..
Being an auto engineer myself. I would find it hard to believe you can overfill the supercharger that easily. The design is not robust, if that is the case.
Here is what I was told.
"Do not usually service the superchargeroil, it is a sealed system (No combustion by product). I do not know the current pricing for an oil service but they will run 200K miles no problem unless an outside factor is involved (leaking)."
"When I have serviced the supercharger, I do it out of the car to properly drain the fluid and refill, there is usually a hand full of other parts that get replaced on a ten year old car, would have to go over the car to provide an estimate on that"
"My concern would be that all the fluid does not get removed and when refilled it would be overfilled, then you run into other problems."
Thanks.

Easily accomplished with the SC in the vehicle.
Lots of DIY threads posted here over the years.
I think the capacity is 7oz. Basically same theory as the 6HP26 trans refill. "Fill up with SC fluid until it trickles out the fill hole".
I'm speaking hyperbole here as I know the lengthy process to properly fill the trans...
No way to over fill.

Did it around 100,000.
Made a sucker out of copper tubing. Installed in hose of Mitey Vac. Removed the air inlet and resonator. Paper towels to check the screw if dropped.
Vacuumed out old oil- used the plastic tubing that comes with the oil. Filled until ir runs out.
Buttoned back up.
Two hour job the first time. Maybe 45 minutes if done again.
I think it should be mandatory. Cannot hurr.
