The press came in two packages delivered on two different days. The only guidance was a picture of the completely assembled press.
In between I assume this is a safety measure. .... If you are too dumb getting it assembled, it automatically prevents you operating it and mess things up.

I payed less than 120$ and shipping was already included in that. After having the bushes pressed out from the front shocks, I saw that probably there was no need to change the whole shocks to eliminate the clunking from the front .... the bushes should have been enough to replace. Anyway.... after 238t mls it's fair to replace the whole set.

Thanks for the credits .... I thought IF I have to/should work on Britsh cars more often, it should happen in a condignly manner. :-)

Today is "Karfreitag" in Germany.... a very serious Day for the christian people.... For me it's more like CarFreitag where I can start testing my new press.

So I took the front right whishbone out and replaced the ShockBush and the anti-roll-bar drop link. Those are my most likely suspects for having some undesired clearance.
Pressing the old bush out was done unsing a 30mm nut - for pressing the new bush in I used a 32mm nut ( not to damage the rubber sleeve)

Worked out okay, however I need some more tools (pieces of pipe with various diameters) to support the whishbone when applying pressure. I took utmost care not to bend or damage the whishbone, therefore I will do the other side when I have those parts.

That’s quite interesting, I had to make up a couple of rings to R & R the lower shock bushes on my ‘99 XJR
The bushes sat recessed in the shock eye, these are what I turned up;

Used this to press the bush out

The cast iron was used to press the bush into

Items in action

This was on the rear shocks, using genuine Jaguar spring compressors
