OK, I changed the Compressor, First thing I did was put the front on ramps. Then an axle stand, under the suspension arm, then took the wheel off, sods law, said the wheel won't come off, had to hit the tyre, while turning the wheel, finally came loose. Then took the Mud shield off, which is held by bolts and screws, plus a couple of push fittings. Then took the cover off the Radar unit, so I could get at the screws for the spot light. Took the light out, this gives you room to lower the compressor. The horn comes off as well, single bolt so no hassles.disconnect the two plugs, then the airline.and air intake.then the three bolts that hold the compressor on. Then reverse everything to Finnish the job.

There was an article in last month's Jaguar World which described this job.
I don't know if you get that magazine on your side of the pond but I seem to remember that they took the whole bumper off. Obviously that is time consuming and unescessary since you have demonstrated that it can be done quicker.
Well done and thanks for disseminating the information.

Can anybody please tell me in which months' issue of Jaguar World this compressor change was described, and under what article heading?
I have looked at their website at http://www.jaguar-world.com and can't identify it in any of the recent back-issues that they sell on line.
Thanks
