Default Suspension issues, maybe

2005 X350 3.0 V6 sovereign
Having a harsh ride with my car. Was fine before, floated down the road like it should.
Then around march had the front upper arms replaced for the MOT (those in UK will know what that is) Now the ride is harder or harsher than it was, had it checked out by a couple of mechanics and Jag specialist to no avail.
Took it to jag dealer and told everything is within parameters so nothing wrong.
Thinking that there is something wrong although I have no clue as what it could be. Ride height is correct according to Jaguar so should be enough air in the system.
As far as I am aware there is nothing wrong with the shocks or compressor, there are no faults on the system, it just doesn't glide over bumps like it used to.
Does anyone have any idea what maybe wrong.
or if anyone lives in south Hampshire and wouldn't mind taking my car for a drive to see if this is all in my head or not I would appreciate it.
Live near Portsmouth on the coast and happy to drive 30-45 mins to meet up

I have been reading this forum for16 years and there have been similar complaints about hard rides
Some suggestions:

Scan car to see if there are any faults that come up even though you have no faults on the dash
Search this forum for relevant posts
Search using Google
It could be stuck in the wrong mode eg transport mode
These vehicles can suffer from electronic "funnies"
Try a hard reset ie remove both battery cables and hold together for a couple of mins.
This removes all power in the system
You will need to reset the windows and radio code afterwards

Hi Meirion,
I bought an Icarsoft to check for fault's and none come up for suspension.
Have done many google searches and not found anything relevant.
Joining here is my last resort, lol
I can try Hard reset, that may do something.

Thx

Mike

This is an educated guess:
This Jag has onboard accelerometer and yaw sensor for the Cats system
If the jag goes into a corner at speed and the body leans over excessively
the system detects it and switches 5v onto the little coils on the top of the struts (two little wires)
maybe only one or two struts on one side.
The voltage generates a magnetic field which increases the viscosity of the hydraulic oil in the struts
and prevents the strut compressing further and making the ride harder.

I have just got a brain wave!
Pull those little coils out of all four struts and go for a ride!

Or even easier-consult your owner's manual and pull a fuse that disables the CATS system
