Default Tech Questions

1. I saw the front bumper removal process in the stickys...Anyone know how long of a process it is? Looks pretty straight forward. 2. Is there a way to stop the front seat to stop moving back, steering wheel up, etc. when getting out of the car? Find it annoying. 3. What is leather inside the car? everything that is stitched? 4. On a standard non GPS dash console is there a way to show outside temp without the heater/AC on? 5. My cars suspension lowers overnight a 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch...Is this normal? I also here it lbow off air once in a while when its sitting... Thanks!

1. Took me an hour because I could not at first see how to release the horizontal anchoring tabs protruding from grill towards radiator.

2. On the button array on the left of the steering column above left knee there is a choice move it to column. You probably have it on automatic.

5. My car does not lower when sitting even for long period.

I too, got annoyed with the seat moving back when the ignition key is removed. It moves so far back it must be for big fat men to get out of the car ! However, being very short in the leg, I need to be fairly close in to the wheel, so I have set the M2 seat setting so that it comes back a bit compared to the M1 setting. SO when I exit the car, I press M2 and the seat comes back just the right amount for me. You stop the other movement by keeping the binnacle switch for column/pedal adjust in one or other of the setting positions. Don't worry about them moving if you accidentally knock the switch whilst driving as all adjustments are inhibited when the car is in gear.

Once the car has been parked for a while it will enter stance mode which from memory will slightly drop but non noticeable.
Also, every once in a while the car will purge water vapor from the system which is what you hear.

Thanks...I measured it after driving and then the next day after sitting overnight. It dropped a 1/4 inch front and rear...
