Time to Level Suspension in SDD?
2008 XJ. Drives fine and is level. No leak down over several weeks at any corner of the car.
But a persistent yellow "Air Suspension Fault" . Gives C2302 and B1671. Decided to rebuild the air compressor with the re-ring kit.
Seemed to go well. Cleared the codes and test drove it about 10 miles OK. No dash lights. Started and stopped the car 3-4 times just to make sure.
Drive about a mile the next day and again yellow light. Now I am getting C2303 and C2780. The last one is a module configuration failure.
Programmed it as a new module as there was no other choice. Went thru the programming fine and dumped me into the suspension leveling automatically.
This is my problem as it won't complete ever? Ran it an hour solid. The pump is cycling and does sound better than before the rebuild. Could NOT stop the test and this is where it got bad!
Finally dumped SDD using task manager but it stuck the car with a "Diagnosis Status" in the message center and a non starting car! Finally went back thru SDD and some how got out of that mode.
Did some scans and other things I think? Seems like no one else has gotten stuck in this before?
Car all back to normal with the original problem of the air suspension and again I have programmed the module fine but it seems again hung up on cycling the air pump forever?
How long does SDD normally take to level the car?
I first drove above 3 kph as instructed plus placed the car in customer mode just in case it was stuck in something else before programming the ASU.
Is there an option to JUST reprogram the module somewhere? I have read mention of this but no luck finding it.
