After more research and price matching I’m leaning towards the option of what member xalty posted a new eBay 6r60 valve body.

I’m assuming I would buy this disassemble the black connector part (mechatronic?) and slap mine on. Put everything back into the car. Refill tranny with Mercon SP. Clear adaptations/flash transmission using IDS. Then hope for the best.

Does anyone advise using this 6r60 valve body? It comes with the solenoids which I’m assuming can be used with my car instead of buying a separate solenoid kit for $273 compared to valve body plus solenoids for $255
