TPMS: Tire Pressure System Fault
#1
![Question](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Hi,
I saw a couple of old posts but no definite solutions.
1. I have a 2007 Jaguar XJ8 (US)
2. I get the Tire Pressure System Fault warning
3. I have not replaced the tire sensors but I had them tested at a tire shop and they said they were fine and were able to read the pressure
4. Couldn't find any broken fuses
5. No codes found (incl. pending). My reader Foxwell NT650 doesn't read TPMS specific codes for my car though.
So I'm leaning towards the tire pressure monitoring module (5W93-1560-CB) being a possible culprit. They are rather cheap on eBay...
A couple of questions:
* Is there any other troubleshooting that can be done?
* Do these modules need to be programmed to your car? I saw some references that they "may" have to be and also that used one that have already been programmed to a car cannot be reprogrammed to another car. Anyone know anything about that?
Regards,
Mike
