i used mobil 1's atf fluid in my mitsubishi 3000GT SL auto when i drained and filled it regularly.

everytime i did it, the tranny just got better and better. great fluid for a great price.

I do not endorse/promote draining your tranny and switching to mobil1 if you don't have problems. but if you need to drain and fill and don't want to spend hundreds on ATF fluid from jag, i would use mobil1's. i do not have experience with castrol's version though, so i cannot comment on it.

 

I have read this link with interest and have had every intention of doing my own maintenance as I have always done on my Landrover/Range Rovers but there is one problem you can help me with. Where the heck do you place e jack on an X350 and where do you place the 4 Stands. If you use the jacking points you really have nowhere to put the stand as you cannot see the sub frame. Any advice would be good.
