Default Transport Mode?

Having a 2008 XJ8L transported across country and was wondering if the air suspension has a transport mode that needs to be engaged? Thanks

I think that most important is to have the gearbox in N with EPB on (not P), and have the car strapped by its wheels, not body, as it may become loose when the suspension sets down and that may damage the gearbox.

If you have a way to configure TRANSPORT MODE and then back to CUSTOMER MODE after transport it would be good. Probably not necessary if it is not available to you.

I'll bet most don't configure to ALIGNMENT MODE during wheel alignment.

Thanks for the response guys. I don't have a way to get it into transportation mode and then back to customer mode. I guess strapping it by the wheels and placing it in neutral with the EPB on is my best bet.
